Sutherland se Louwhuis en -museum en die ATKV-Skryfskool bied ’n poësiewerkswinkel aan. Bernard Odendaal, Afrikaanse digter, digkunskenner en voormalige direkteur van die ATKV-Skryfskool, sal op Vrydagmiddag 18 Augustus en Saterdagoggend 19 Augustus 2023 ’n poësiewerkswinkel op die Roggeveldse plaas Klipkraal buite Sutherland lei.

Die drie-week-residensie sluit in: retoerkaartjies na Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), indien nodig, vervoer tussen die lughawe en Somerset-Oos, ’n gerieflike, eie "kamer met ’n uitsig", die Stigting se inwonende sjef se heerlike maaltye en onbeperkte toegang tot die internet.

The residency includes return tickets to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), if needed, transport between the airport and Somerset East, a comfortable “room-with-a-view” of your own, housekeeping services and delicious meals prepared by the Foundation’s resident chef.

Skrywers wat in 2023 vir ’n maand lank rus en vrede nodig het om tyd aan kreatiewe skryfwerk in enige genre te bestee, kan nou aansoek doen vir Die LitNet Tuishuise Inwoonskrywerskap op Cradock. Sluitingsdatum: 30 Maart 2023.

"Die Jakes Gerwel Stigting, PEN Afrikaans en PEN South Africa wag tans graag aansoeke in vir ’n residensieprogram wat ten doel het om skrywers onverstoorde skryftyd in Somerset-Oos in die Oos-Kaap vanaf 5 tot 25 Junie vanjaar te bied."

Die Jakes Gerwel Stigting nooi graag alle skrywers (opkomend of gevestig) van alle genres uit om aansoek te doen vir ’n residensie wat vanaf 27 Februarie tot 13 Maart 2023 by Paulet Huis op Somerset-Oos aangebied word.
