Grootse gospelkonsert in die mooiste maand
Taalmonument Amfiteater sal weerklink met spirituele stemme en klank
Die Afrikaanse Taalmuseum en -monument (ATM) speel in Oktober die gasheer vir seker een van die grootste gospelkonserte in die Paarl tot nog toe. In samewerking met Marco Mentoor en Chadleigh Gowar, beloof hierdie spirituele sang-extravaganza om van Sondag, 30 Oktober 2022, ’n onvergeetbare middag in die Amfiteater op Paarlberg te maak.
Minstens 22 sangers en groepe gaan vanaf 14:00 tot 20:00 besoekers met musiek en lirieke uit die boonste rakke bekoor. Hulle sluit in Chadleigh Gowar, Clarissa Benjamin, Colin Mitchells, David Jantjies, Deon Valor, Divine Purpose, Divine Ministry, DOEP, Dumisani, Gerty Ryan en Merlin Balie (wat beide ook as seremoniemeesters optree), Jerome Scholtz, Kunjalo, Larry George, Loren Erasmus, Marco Mentoor en MM Productions, Nicoleen Saal, Nosipho H, No S’wett, Set One Band, Steyn Fourie asook Triveno Smith. Hierdie talentvolle musikante kom vanaf die Paarl en die res van die Wes-Kaap; hulle verteenwoordig ’n verskeidenheid gospelgenres en bespeel talle instrumente, onder meer saxofone en klavier. Hul bekende opnames kry ruim lugtyd, en hulle het al wyd gereis om voor groot gehore hul boodskap oor te dra.
Die hekke open om 13:00 en gaste word aangemoedig om ’n gesinsuitstappie daarvan te maak. Daar is oorgenoeg sitplekke, dus geen ander stoele word toegelaat nie. Stalletjies sal bekostigbare, heerlike verversings aanbied, derhalwe word geen eie kos of drank toegelaat nie. Genoeg parkering is beskikbaar.

Taalmonument Amphitheatre will reverberate with spiritual voices and sounds
In October, the Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument (ATM) will play host to probably one of the biggest gospel concerts in Paarl to date. In collaboration with Marco Mentoor and Chadleigh Gowar, this spiritual singing extravaganza promises to turn Sunday, 30 October 2022, into an unforgettable afternoon in the Amphitheatre on Paarl Mountain.
At least 22 singers and groups will charm visitors with top-class music and lyrics from 14:00 to 20:00. They include Chadleigh Gowar, Clarissa Benjamin, Colin Mitchells, David Jantjies, Deon Valor, Divine Purpose, Divine Ministry, DOEP, Dumisani, Gerty Ryan and Merlin Balie (both of whom will also act as masters of ceremonies), Jerome Scholtz, Kunjalo, Larry George, Loren Erasmus, Marco Mentoor and MM Productions, Nicoleen Saal, Nosipho H, No S’wett, Set One Band, Steyn Fourie as well as Triveno Smith. These talented musicians hail from Paarl and the rest of the Western Cape; they represent a variety of gospel genres and play numerous instruments, including saxophones and piano. Their well-known recordings receive ample airtime, and they have travelled widely to convey their message to large audiences.
The gates open at 13:00 and guests are encouraged to make a family outing of it. There is ample seating, so no other chairs are allowed. Stalls will offer affordable, delicious refreshments, therefore no own food or drink is allowed. Ample parking is available.
