Haar debuutbiografie vlek die onetiese en kriminele gedrag van haar kollegas oop aangaande die Trillian-sage en Eskom. Uit 50 werkers by Trillian was sy al een wat aanvanklik bereid was om na vore te tree.
Hetsy weens haar geloof of haar morele oortuigings het Mothepu besluit dat geld en gevaar haar nie sal muilband nie.

Haar boek is nie yl gesaai aan diepe, persoonlike bekentenisse nie. Haar psigiese, fisieke en emosionele aftakeling word weens haar besluit om ’n fluitjieblaser te word, ten toon gestel sonder om sensasiewekkend te word.

Humor in die vorm van blatante, maar tog menslike eerlikheid sorg altyd vir ’n lag met ’n traan.
Haar obsessie met handsakke speel deurgaans ’n rol as simbool van die soort welvaart wat sy na nastreef.
In haar slothoofstuk rig sy haar pleidooi: Wees waaksaam!

Hierdie ongekompliseerde kragtoer gaan jou woedend en simpatiek maak oor die soveel kere wat die staat ander staatsinstellings teen Mothepu gebruik het in stede daarvan om haar te beskerm. Al maak dit jou gefrustreerd, bied dit jou ook onfeilbare perspektief op staatskaping en die mense wat hul siel vir R200-note in ’n sak uit die kattebak van ’n voertuig by Saxonwold verkoop het.
Hierdie boek kry by my 9/10.
