Visited Great Smoky Mountain National Park today and drove through Gatlinburg, TN. WOW!!!! Miles long traffic jams. Hundreds of thousands of visitors in town. 90% of the pedestrians on the packed sidewalks are not wearing masks. Lots of businesses do not require masks to enter. We were shocked, to put it mildly.
This weekend Gatlinburg is without a doubt a COVID-19 super-spreader town/event. Stay away if you had plans to visit.
