The author Terblanche Jordaan writes the following on Facebook about the media reporting surrounding the coronavirus:
Me thinks, nothing displays the influence of big-pharma on Corporate Media, fake news on Social Media, and sensationalism on Printed Media more than the whole debate on the #coronavirus ― I mean, look at your news feed:
W.H.O. says, the corona virus is a pandemic ... some doctors say, no it isn’t; some remind us that more people die of malaria ... and some pundits say, that’s not the point; one reported: it’s caused by 5G ... and another says it’'s a biological weapon; a health expert says, only the vulnerable will die of this virus ... so will airlines and tourist destinations, reports the economist; some suggests more hygiene ... and others scream, no less hysteria.
It seems EVERYBODY knows and NO ONE has a clue!
