Om die herlewing van Arabiese Afrikaans te versterk bied die Afrikaanse Taalmuseum en -monument (ATM), Historium Trust en Cape Family Research Forum twee GRATIS werkswinkels oor hierdie unieke skryftradisie in KAAPSTAD aan. Die gewilde Shamiega Chaudhari sal beginners en gevorderde skrywers op Saterdag, 27 Julie 2024, touwys maak, onderskeidelik via ’n moderne ‘madrassa’-klas en begeleiding om spesifieke Afrikaanse klanke in die Arabiese skrif te bemeester.

Die beginnersklas is op 27 Julie vanaf 09:00 tot 12:00 en die gevorderde klas vanaf 13:00 tot 16:00 in Muhammadeyah Primêr te Battsweg 103, Wynberg. Be creative with Arabic Afrikaans in Cape Town
Taalmonument, Historium Trust and Cape Family Research Forum offer FREE workshops
To strengthen the revival of Arabic Afrikaans, the Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument (ATM), Historium Trust and Cape Family Research Forum are offering two FREE workshops about this unique writing tradition in CAPE TOWN. The popular Shamiega Chaudhari will train beginners and advanced writers on Saturday, 27 July 2024, respectively via a modern ‘madrassa’ class and guidance on how to master specific Afrikaans sounds in the Arabic script.

The beginners class is on 27 July from 09:00 to 12:00 and the advanced class from 13:00 to 16:00 in Muhammadeyah Primary at 103 Batts Road, Wynberg. Both classes are free but advance booking is essential to determine numbers and refreshments.
