We should stop worrying about the names of towns and streets. We should, however, worry about South Africa becoming a failed state. In this lecture, delivered at the Etienne van Heerden Veldsoirée 2023, Sihle Khumalo urges South Africans to have difficult conversations, to move beyond their comfort zones. He does so while reflecting on his many travels throughout Africa.
