The stars
The stars aren’t as lonely
as some may think
With their brilliant light
they chatter and wink
They could tell us of legends
of times long past
Of love, life and laughter
echoed in a universe vast
Each night they come out
to brighten our sky
From the day we are born
till the day we die
And though now and then
one of them might fall
These brilliant little lights
bring joy to us all
