It is not every day one gets to see The Luna Paige Band perform together. Luna performed and toured solo quite often in 2012 but in 2013 Schalk Joubert, Kevin Gibson and Willem Moller joins Luna on stage more regularly.

Schalk Joubert needs no introduction. He is one of the most renowned bass players in SA. Apart from him playing the bass in a unique, virtuoso way, he's been nationally awarded as both producer and composer. Schalk recently toured with the famous American singer/songwriter Michelle Shocked in the States and the UK and also regularly travels & performs with the amazingly talented Gert Vlok Nel.
Kevin Gibson is noted as one of SA’s top drummers. He is highly acclaimed and respected in the jazz circles, has performed with international stars Jackson Browne & Johnny Clegg as well as a wide array of SA’s top musicians. Kevin has worked on a multitude of SA music albums as session drummer and often works with Schalk Joubert on musical projects.
Willem Moller has been in the music industry for over 20 years and was one of the pioneers of the Afrikaans music revolution, the “Voëlvry” movement. He recently gained renewed recognition for his role in “Search for the Sugarman” as one of the band members who performed and toured with Rodriguez in the 90s, since performing again with Rodriguez in 2013!
These 3 highly experienced musicians all form a super-special part of the unique Luna Paige Band sound. Since 2003 Luna has released 3 original English albums and 1 exceptional live Afrikaans CD & DVD. All 4 of these albums received rave reviews and have been featured and/or playlisted on national radiostations, TV programs, glossy magazines and print media. Luna will be performing a collection of songs from these albums. She recently started dabbling in blues and country and will prepare some brand new (never released) songs! Luna decided to work on some special cover songs by artists that inspire her and that were recommended by her fans. 2013 marks Luna's 10th year in the industry. The month of June will see Luna performing in the Netherlands for the first time and performing at the popular Innibos festival in Nelspruit.
