
Heri-Trav is hosting a poetry contest as part of the Intangible cultural heritage festival.
Participants stand a chance for their poem to be published.
Entry is free and open to everyone in the world.
The theme is “My town”. It can be a poem about your hometown, the town you live in or any town in the world that you love or have an interest in.
Any poetry form is welcome including, Haiku.
Entries may be in English and Afrikaans.
Poems must not be more than 30 lines.
Celebrate your heritage, honour our towns. This is how we connect the world, keeping intangible cultural heritage going and building bridges through literature.
