Ron Irwin’s anticipated debut novel, Flat Water Tuesday, is set to hit bookshelves in June. The Cape Times has already published a short review, in which Cathy Stagg claims that Irwin will undoubtedly have a following as a novelist after this book.

The next James Bond novel, Solo, is set in Africa! (Anyone else as excited as I am?) Author William Boyd made this announcement at the London Book Fair on Monday. (The Guardian)

Unless you’re a cult sci-fi fan, you might not know who Neil Gaiman is, but the British author made the news when he and his wife, Amanda Palmer, decide to play a game with their Twitter followers. Their experiment in guerrilla art took an interesting turn when The Guardian found  the tablecloth drawing Gaiman hidden under a rock near their offices in New York.
