Learn from it
I'm standing in the driveway
I have only in my mind the idea of where I'm going
An adventure lies ahead
And I feel excited.
I arrive at my destination
I can only feel the excitement grow
I am also scared, for this journey is going to teach me,
I don't know what, I don't know how.
A lot of things I learned
Trust, compassion, love, friendship
And the pure way of human nature
And how to react to it.
The end of this journey has come
And a new one has yet to begun.
Every journey has it's lessons.
Excitement yet again stirs
For new things in life will be learned.
I can't wait to see what the world shows me next
For there is still a whole world left.
With time you learn
And with learning you will build skill.
After time passes, learning soon turns into wisdom
And with wisdom you can teach.
Walk life hand in hand with the world
And experience the greatness it has to offer.
