Gyrfalcon
The young Gyrfalcon soared on high
in a desolate cloud-filled hazy sky
to where silvery snowflakes silently form
and the birth of the new day the grey adorn.
As crepuscular rays slowly slither along
he embraces the solitude with his ambient song
daring the shimmery beams to a race
as he finds solace in this barren place.
