Brothers in Blood opens at the Artscape Arena

Mike van Graan’s award-winning play, Brothers in Blood, opens at Artscape Arena on Wednesday, 28 March.

Xenophobia, prejudice, religious conflict, fear and anxiety – these are the challenges three fathers have to deal with in order to protect their children.

Director, writer, actor, Greg Homann, a Wits University Graduate, has brought together a formidable cast of five. Award-winning actor, David Dennis, portrays the role of Abubaker Abrahams,

Commissioned by the Charles Diamond Foundation, Brothers in Blood premiered at the Market Theatre in 2009 and won the 2010 Naledi Theatre Award for Best New South African Play. 

Brothers in Blood is presented by Artscape in association of MVG Productions at the Artscape Arena, opening on Wednesday, 28 March at 20:15. Performance information is as follows: A special preview on Tuesday 27 March at 19:30 at R50 per person. Tuesdays 3 and 10 April at 19:30 at R65 per person.

Performances on 12, 13, 14 April at 18:00 and all other 20:15 performances at R85 per person.  Pensioners and students with proof of ID R50 at all performances.
