Calling all Blues fans of the Northern Suburbs (and beyond). It's that time again. Blue Tuesday is a project created by die Boer Restaurant Theatre to offer a more regular and more affordable Blues experience to our patrons. On Tuesdays, most of our Top local Blues and Rock artists are " free" from their normal weekend gigs, and most of them have agreed to put their talent and time and effort behind this project. The idea is to have a forum where musicians will meet, "jam" with each other and new ideas and collaborations will be formed. A house band will provide the backbone of the music while various guests will join them through the night. Blue Tuesday will start of as a once a month event, but will hopefully grow to a "twice" a month phenomenon! We will also always have a food and drinks "special" to make this a night that everyone can afford.
The upcoming show on 16 April will be a great mixture of Blues and Rock, with Jesse Jordan starting of the evening, followed by Dr John and Boulevard Blues with the amazing Kevin Gibson behind the drums. They will be joined by special guest guitarist Sven Blumer, and the evening will end on a high octane note with the explosive South African Rock band Pebbleman .
This will be a night to remember.
