Sharon Jenkings

Sharon Jenkings (née Meyering) graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA in Southern African Languages and a Master’s Degree in Afrikaans and Netherlandic Studies. During her studies she was production manager and editor of Varsity, UCT’s student newspaper. She has a Journalism diploma from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Her Afrikaans to English translations appeared in The New Century of South African Short Stories (2003).
