Bhekisisa Mncube

Bhekisisa Mncube is an award-winning columnist, journalist and author.

He is currently a Witness/New24 columnist where he writes his award-winning column aptly titled, “Letter to Mahlamba Ndlopfu.”

He is a recipient of the prestigious Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship.

He has penned two monographs, including the children's book titled Kumnandi Emakhaya and the best-selling memoir, The Love Diary of a Zulu Boy. These books are published by the Macmillan Education and Penguin Random House publishers, respectively.

Through the FunDza Literacy Trust's website, he has published two short stories to date.

He is currently a director of political speech-writing and content at the Ministry of Basic Education.

He is married with two adult children.
