Sometimes I Laugh Like My Sister – 22 to 26 January 2013 (± 75 min)

In February 2005 a BBC journalist Kate Peyton was murdered in Mogadishu, the
capital of Somalia. She was the big sister of playwright/performer Rebecca
Peyton. In this riveting performance, Rebecca welcomes us to her world in a
passionately political, sharply comical and painfully personal account of
life after Kate. Crafting a moving and often comic tapestry of private
moments from a public tragedy, the show at the Artscape Arena explores,
through Rebecca's eyes, the story of a courageous journalist and a loving
big sister who is missed. Tickets range from R80 to R100.
