Gister het die EU toegegee dis die einde van Westerse sg heerskappy of dat hulle ooit die kastige bakermat van die beskawing was, ek haal graag aan:
What happened in the hours after the European summit told the longer-term story. An exhausted French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, knew that in the longer term the success of the European package would depend him making a phone call. That call would not be to the US President but rather to the Chinese President, Hu Jintao.
The French President’s call signified that the world leadership is passing from the West to the East.
Since 1830 Europe or the US has had global economic leadership. Prior to that, China was the world’s largest economic power (Foretaste of a Chinese surge, October 20) and before the decade is out China will have restored its pre-1830 position.
We don’t know what Hu Jintao told Nicolas Sarkozy but shortly after the conversation Li Daokui, an academic member of China’s central bank monetary policy committee, and Yu Youngling, a former member of that committee, told the Financial Times that China would contribute to the eurozone’s bailout fund. But it seemed there were a few conditions.
First, part of the loan would have to be effectively in the Chinese currency, the renminbi. Perhaps the securities would be denominated in euro but China would be guaranteed against currency loss. Second, there must be no more criticism of the Chinese currency. Third, China is prepared to buy European assets and must be allowed to do so.
Wat dit natuurlik in realiteit beteken is dat Sjina basies besig is om die EU uit te koop ... en as mens in ag neem dat die VSA se hele ekonomie feitlik 100% van Sjina afhanklik is ... Wel, dan is dit duidelik wie nou, op HIERDIE huidige oomblik kitaar klapo in die wêreld, en dis baie beslis NIE die VSA of EU nie ...
SA is natuurlik stewig in die bed met Sjina, en regmatiglik so.
Op sy eie is SA ongetwyfeld die beste land tans ter wêreld, maar met die stoere steun van Sjina, word ons net soveel beter en sterker.
Ek sien ook reuse groot hoeveelhede aardgas is gevind in Mosambiek, genoeg om SA te speen vanaf olie en steenkool, end dan praat ons nog nie van ons eie gas in die Karoo nie ... een reuse bloeitydperk lê voor, nie net vir SA nie, maar die hele Afrika kontinent.
Hartseer om te seg maar dinge lyk besonders donker vir die EU en VSA.
Hulle is reeds bankrot, met geen manier om geld te genereer nie behalwe deur drakoniese belasting en die wegraping van enige soort van sosiale kruk waarop die mense daar so lank gesteun het.
Die verliese aan gelde en inkomste is reeds enorm maar dit gaan tsoenami’s vloedgolf totdat dit Bybelse afmetings gaan aanneem.
As daar nog boonop ’n sg Swart Swaan sy vlerke in die wiele moet druk in die loop van die hele hartseer proses, kan dinge regtig lelik raak, en ek praat van grootskaalse hongersnood en burgeroorlog, wat weer maklik kan uitkring in die Derde Wêreldoorlog ... ons sluit af:
