Worth Fighting For
Many emotions to deal with without knowing how. Where I don't always have to feel, and where it doesn't always snow. Exists this one place where I can go and simply feel at home. Just lying there all by myself without feeling alone. Letting my eyes wander the landscape for a while. Realising that I couldn't help but smile.The sincerely, innocent angel from above. Fearlessly happy and believing in love. Sitting up with the person I miss and adore. My smile starts to fade as I remember she exists no more. Goosebumps start to reappear as a shiver shocks down my spine. Guilty! I plead guilty to the sin of Kain. Temperatures drop to minus-one. As I live the life of who she's become. Just then I turned my face to the sun, so I couldn't see the shade. I just remembered all the fun and that its almost been a decade.
The secret of life is that you got to fight. Fighting to survive. Fight for what you strive. Fight to express yourself. Fight for wealth. Whenever you reach the point of asking yourself, "Should I let go?" Remember to always, always say "No". Think a while and ask yourself if it's worth fighting for success. The answer will always, always be "Yes".
Now it's time for me to go home from my happy place. So glad this time I can keep the smile on my face. Life could have its ups-and-downs. All the smiles and all the frowns. But things always turn out better in the end. You just got to figure this out my friend. Sometimes we just have to let go. It doesn't always have to snow. I traded the bad times in. 'Cause it's my choice if I want to win. Life is good, oh life is bad. Sometimes mad and sometimes sad. Just remember who you are. Nothing can't be fixed by my guitar.
