Wild Flower

Once upon a life I found a flower in my hands
I never knew much about its kind of plans
I hoped that what it was, wasn't too much for my soul
I tried to find a way, but my feet wouldn't go

There's never enough reason inside
Sometimes you just need to go for the ride
Down to the ocean where the sea meets the sand
She's never really sure about where she might land

CHORUS:
She was a wild flower
Yes she was, yes she was
She was a wild flower
Like a darkness so bright
Shooting stars in the night, yeah

Once upon a dream I caught a poisonous thorn
it took me down to where the ocean was warm
A pretty little thing with a beauty so fresh
she’s never really knowing where or what she’ll be next

Dancing in the rain or walking in the sun
How the hell could we tell that this day would come?
She was a wild flower, yeah

BRIDGE:
Keeping me up with the dreams of the dead
Keeping me up with these thoughts in my head
Now the rain has come and it’s cold in the sun
I wasn’t ever sure, but I’m sure I was wrong
Where are the reasons when the reason forget?
There’s never enough thoughts in my head

CHORUS

Whoa yeah
