Truth dies

  • 1

Truth dies
not on the shiny slaughter slab
of lies
or within
the exalted cathedral
of manipulations.
Nor does truth die
at the invention and reinvention of perceived "truths".
Truth dies
at the doorstep of fragmented "truths",
and the jostle for supremacy
becomes the norm.
And we ask ourselves:
Which truth? Whose truth?

I love this poem - not only because it is beautifully written, but because of it's truth. And beauty and truth is two sides of a coin!
