"Tonight" by Benedikt Sebastian

Tonight

Tonight there's a black moon
I'm drifting on a lonely road and
on the horizon dark silhouettes
announce me to the mountains

My rocket-ship fires away
a silver snake through the night
I follow your scent on the wind
search for a memory tonight

Your perfume like a fire burns
The smell of your hair in my mind ignites
Your eyes pierce my heart like an arrow
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night

The road is sticky, yet so simple
from north to the east, south and the west
through steep hills of thought
your heart tumbles along

The lights bend on turns and curves
driving circles around my heart
I laugh about then and cry about now
why am I alone here tonight?

Your perfume like a fire burns
The smell of your hair in my mind ignites
Your eyes pierce my heart like an arrow
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night

The daybreak blues fading in and
the moon has shed her last skin
The start of the road is now in the past
all that is left is the wild, wild, next

With you my journey starts again
a different road with new thoughts
together we will sail with the wind
leaving dreams behind, tonight …

Your perfume like a fire burns
The smell of your hair in my mind ignites
Your eyes pierce my heart like an arrow
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night
Tonight is the night
