The Old Days
Oh, looking back on good old days
everything was better and I remember the way
we walked to school every day
Oh, waiting by the road
and my heart would skip a beat
when you come down the road
I couldn't wait to see that pretty face
Ten years from then
we were married and had a little kid in the den
And as we grew up I swear that she looked just like you
Everything has changed since then
At least I can say that I've loved when
I get to the gates of heaven
and they ask me why they should let me inside
