Slacker
Sitting at his 9 to 5 wishing for another day of being the slacker,
the office buzz with life but slacker is eating his life away.
There should be a reason for his way,
the dreamer of his youth has passed but he is still in 2002, slacker.
Wake up, wake up, your life is passing,
what what what have you done today?
Tomorrow is not your future, it’s just a da da da day,
just a day for ... for slacking.
The turning point in life is pointless,
when every outcome is already planned.
So I rather slack than plan –
fun is in the unknown,
not in a 9 to 5.
All the famous slackers went from the edge,
to a edge of knowledge.
Changed the world to suit them,
made slacking an art,
in a time when slacking was hard.
Blame TV, blame drugs,
but never blame the hugs,
or yourself.
You’re the slacker that
will always be loved,
in a world where no one
knows your name.
