Sensible for us

This morning I’ve been waking up to the greatest day
Reading your letters, you left them anyway
It was so beautiful, indeed it was
And your soft lips on my cheeks and the smell of your hair
is making me complete, yet so dazed and confused
How could you never see the wrong?
I feel we've been wondering how
This is sensible for us
You keep me holding on to what was long gone
and this confusion written on your hands
I had to wipe your tears
You have to sit back now and wonder if you had to share
with this miserable misfortune of this day
‘Cause you have gone away
‘Cause you have gone away

I sense everything was happening
but obviously I’m letting in
your heart, your heart
You've been following
You're following
It's measurable
You're sensing
everything is right
I wish this could be better
How could this not be?
I'm wondering if you
would let it go
You're not the same at all
if you're missing me at all

If I hold you
You breathing out
Why have you not understood?
Fingertips, you lost your smile
Of everything you're letting go
You’re letting go, you feeling
a little low a little low
You did not have to let this go

I’m breathing, I’m breathing in
it’s hard to sense this cold within
You can’t pretend there's nothing here
You can’t pretend
you have many feelings
‘Cause I will let you go
and I will let you go
I will let you go
I will let you go
