Wondering about your place in the Universe? Feeling worthless and insignificant? Let me tell you a wonderful secret that works for me: I go into seclusion -- it can be even within a crowd, whenever I need to be alone with God -- and I share with my Creator what I really need and want to be happy for that exact moment, without spending any money, or without relying on other people. And you will be surprised how content I feel after such a session!
Do you know how to bring the stars into reach? Or how to dance on clouds, and to glide along the vast marbled floor of the stars of the Universe? How to sing in the choir of heavenly angels? Now that is some experience ... no money in this world can buy it! Please try this ... Be eager to allow God to fill you with His divine creativity and comfort.

Just leave all your sorrows behind, dress yourself in whatever clothing - or even undress, merely caressed by the soft truth of sheer white light! - and dance away into the Universe. Does it sound mad? No. It is the very best treatment you can give to your soul, and no therapist to pay!

What makes me happy? Using all of my senses to their fullest capacity: listening to the music of creation: birds, a waterfall, a river; smelling the fragrance of undergrowth, bark, moss, jasmine, roses, grass, herbs ... an apple tart baking ... vanilla or lavender on sun-kissed white cotton sheets; tasting the honest refreshment of rejuvenating water, the contentedness of eating ordinary bread, cheese, a crisp apple; looking at diamonds shimmering on the ocean, covering myself visually in the green touch of ferns and palms and trees, dressing the fairy in me in the different hues of the sky at dawn or at dusk: all blues and emerald green, crimson and rose, dark velvet splashed with silver and gold; touching the textured layers of creation: sand, stone, glass, fur, wood, silk, water; feeling the embrace of a summer breeze, or the tantalizing kiss of the afternoon sun at the nape. How rich can one get?

And what about love? Ever shared a smile with a stranger? Or with a child? Try it! Start a compassionate conversation with somebody unapproachable ... and see how barriers melt!

Any obsessive compulsive thought patterns? Turn it into a structured poem, and grin at the end product: read it out loud, sing it, laugh about it, rap it! Name it, blame it and shame it ... and let it go.

Create something out of nothing: put one single twig in a tall, clear cut vase and place it somewhere in a special niche; write a poem for someone dear, using the most simple words you can master, to say something profound (like: "the sun is humming my memories of you all over the evening sky"); compose some simple music to share; be a clown, a prophet, a dare!

Make time to really listen to God. He has magnificent ways to reach you ... and often his Holy Spirit sings within. Don't miss that song ... Or: listen to the evening breeze ... That is when He strolls his garden of Eden, still intact inside the receptive heart ...

I can go on and on. Whatever you do, turn your world around and become the true you. Whilst getting to know yourself better, be as sophisticated as possible: candle light, roses, a glass of reddest of red wine; Chopin your guest at the fireplace of the heart. Or go for the simplistic approach: stripped to the soul, drinking from the goblet of imaginative romance. Treat yourself to some fun moment: showering all alone in the garden on a sultry summer's eve (create a primitive shower in no time: hang a tin with holes punched into it up an old oak tree -- in my case, a willow tree! -- and let the hose pipe run its refreshing water over your skin, while you watch the moon rising ...

Get the picture?

It is so easy to be rich in a blasé world of boredom and of emotional and spiritual poverty.
