Don’t waste a second
There isn’t a second to waste
Don’t let someone steal it from you
Or, you’ll repent, in haste
Temptations which can lead you astray
And take you down the wrong road
Could leave you forever damaged
And you’ll carry, a heavy load
A second could be used, to lend a helping hand
Or use it with a friendly smile
Or toil a fertile land
Don’t let destructive thoughts infiltrate your mind
Or wrong deeds that you may do
Forever, your life may bind
Each second of your life, flashed by, in such a hurry
So don’t waste it on the things you do, that in the end
Just cause you worry
Always remember each second
It’s precious and never comes back
So use it wisely and use it well
And in the end, a good tale, you’ll tell
