Reflection

Down to my last breath,
Got no more strength ... to laugh,
To fight this life.
My trials just won’t end
I look around for one best friend

My faith is failing me
My world is crumbling like the walls of Jericho
Where do I begin to describe

Please tell me how to survive
When I can see my life is going nowhere
My mirror’s got no reflection
I’m tired of all this rejection
I see some-one there that resembles me
My reflection just won’t let me be

All I see is a life of crime
A crime against me every time
But that’s nothing new
My skies are just as blue .. like yours

My faith is failing me
That’s how the cookie crumbles
When people cheer as I stumble
To save my sanity.

Please tell me how to survive
When I can see my life is going nowhere
My mirror’s got no reflection
I’m tired of all this rejection
I see some-one there that resembles me
My reflection just won’t let me be

Breakdown

Give me something to hold onto
Just one thing I can do
I need some inspiration to fill my heart
When my reflection is tearing me apart

Please tell me how to survive
When I can see my life is going nowhere
My mirror’s got no reflection
I’m tired of all this rejection
I see some-one there that resembles me
My reflection just won’t let me be
