"Pappa, what have you done?" by Chloe Boswell

Pappa, what have you done?

Can’t take it anymore
It’s getting too much

Who is the culprit of this cruel crime?
Her or him?

Because when Pappa drinks,
Mamma she just sinks

His eyes cut through her soul
Drowning her with this inescapable disease
Of Pappa, there no more,
Lying lifeless on floor.

Because when that Pappa drinks
That Mamma, she just sinks

She can’t hold up no more,
She’s breaking, sitting shaking crying from the core.
He’s left her hanging by a thread,
This is that one moment in life she dreads

He can put that flag up on a pole
He’s taken everything from her soul
She’s no more
