One million miles apart

One million miles apart,
Why didn't I listen to my heart?
Would you have wanted me to stay another day?
We never promised each other anything,
But I wish that we had done something.
You were never the plan for me,
But now it's only you I see,
When I close my eyes,
It's only you and me.
Sitting here all by myself,
Bored and cold,
No one's home.
Lights are dim,
How can I win?
There is nowhere I can turn.
Creatively I don't know where to start,
My life's no work of art,
At least I know what to say,
Each and every other day.
I need a change; I need some fun.
