Not as good as two

I don’t know how to read you
your pages are encoded
You have been translated
into your own little hardcover

Your language I need to learn
for your trust I want to earn
You sometimes seem readable
when suddenly you scramble

I can keep on trying, fighting
I will let you notice who I am
You will finally see that what’s going on
I'm trying to get you, see yourself

I have realised that you also need to learn
You need some kind of touch
You will be nurtured like a fern
You are not alone in this as such

You will soon see that I
only mean the best for you
I have noticed now that one
is not as good as two
