New Years Resolution
Another year gone by
in a blink of an eye
It’s time to jot down
some of my famous lies
How I'll travel the world
and lose so much weight
And end my feud
with those that I hate

A bunch of empty promises
On the path of good intentions
The plot totally missed
It’s all a lie
Looking at myself with better eyes
But spoken of these words
are left there and slowly it dies

and promises all have run dry
I realize this, it’s futile to try

All result to be seen
is the creature of habit
