Freedom is the beat to my heart

Let us strive for freedom in South Africa, our land
even if crime and corruption circle like vultures above us
Let it not feast on our dignity, but on our pride
so its eyes could open and see what defines us
Table Mountain does not crumble
but inspires us to reach above
beyond the table cloth and to fight for what is right
I shall not give up on my country
like the ground of Robben Island
