"Milk" by Jana Dreyer

Milk

Did you know that in my dreams I’m mostly wearing quilts?
If it’s an option on the menu, I always order milk

I pronounce the silent h’s because I feel if I were them
I would be feeling so offended if people ignored me when they sing

Chorus

So who am I to judge those who fall in love with trees?
And who am I to judge the people claiming they’ve grown chairs by
planting seeds?

Would you say that I am stranger than the person next to me
If I claim to just drink coffee and then secretly drink tea?

If I could choose I’d be reversing to wherever I must go
And my only hobby’s cyberstalking people like you’ll never know

Chorus

So who am I to judge those who fall in love with trees?
And who am I to judge the people claiming they’ve grown chairs by
planting seeds?
