"Livin’ the dream" by Nadia Schultz

Livin’ the dream

I wake up
It’s Saturday morning
The sunshine’s in my head
I look out
Everyone’s mourning
‘Cause last season is dead

I can’t see how anybody’s ever gotten by
If all the world can do is bitch and moan and cry

But listen to Bob, he taught us a lesson
Always to smile and never be stressin’
I’m livin’ the dream and I don’t have to worry
About anything and I’ll never be sorry
‘Cause I’m gonna grab every moment while it’s in front of me ...

I think back
to last July
when life was still unfair
I got tired
of always fussin'
and decided not to care

I thought of how my life would be if I were having fun
I kissed all my blues goodbye and since then they were gone

‘Cause I listened to Bob, he taught me a lesson
Always to smile and never be stressin’
I’m livin’ the dream and I don’t have to worry
About anything and I’ll never be sorry
‘Cause I’m gonna grab every moment while it’s in front of me ...

I got dressed
and wrote this song
to show them how to smile
I went out
they sang along
and they were happy for a while

I called up all my friends to get the party on,
And when Sunday morning came, we still weren't gone

We sang: (Don't worry about a thing ... 'cause every little thing is gonna be alright)

Listen to Bob, he taught us a lesson
Always to smile and never be stressin’
I’m livin’ the dream and I don’t have to worry
About anything and I’ll never be sorry
‘Cause I’m gonna grab every moment while it’s in front of me ...
