Life skills – a song of temptation

A squeeze of mare’s milk is refreshing and nice
Although a deep kiss might better suffice
With a little touch here and a little touch there
Soon it becomes all devil may care…
And before you know it
You’re over the limit
The heart races cruelly
And love blooms more fully.
Maybe there’s something in it for me
To define my own destiny
Something in it for me…
Looked everywhere and finally
There’s something in it for me.

But when out caught in a sudden squall
I see mare’s milk won’t do at all
And before I know it
I go out and blow it
So I’m settling down
With the Kublai Khan
Who gives me a rose
And now I suppose
There was something in it for me
That defined my destiny
Something in it for me…
Looked everywhere and finally
saw something in it for me.
I woke up and was taking a cruise
I now know I’ve got nothing to lose
The sea around me still as glass
From a deck chair I saw life go past
And fell asleep without any clue
Opened my eyes in Xanadu
The Khan is tough and hard as nails
Everything falls right through the rails.
Maybe there was nothing in it for me…
Derailed my destiny
Nothing in it for me…
Looked everywhere and finally
Found nothing in it for me.
And now my heart is racing again
I feel no love, but only pain
The mare’s dried up
She won’t take a bridle or spare me a drop
She bites and she screams and she kicks till I’m blue
She doesn’t give a damn about you…
What was in it for me?
That defined my destiny
Nothing in it for me…
Locked in tight and finally
Found nothing in it for me.
Mare’s milk might be nice…
A drop of mare’s milk might add some spice
But there’s nothing in it for me
Nothing more for me...
