In the midst of the storms there’s always hope
There’s too much sadness,
in the faces of those around us.
Why have people stopped living
and lost love’s true meaning?
There are babies sleeping hungry,
People stealing other’s hard-earned wealth and money.
Why are partners giving blue eyes and bruises
instead of giving their “loved” ones hugs and kisses?
How can one hurt and rape a baby or child?
Whose spirit and body is still so gentle, fragile and mild!
Why is it that there’s crime everywhere we turn?
Yet hope for a brighter tomorrow is what we earnestly yearn!
We’ve got to each stand up for what we believe is right
and help those around us with all our might.
Show love to your neighbour!
By stopping the cycle of abuse and crime
We’ll be doing our future generations a priceless favour.
Look to the Father above for strength.
He’ll give you wisdom and guidance to go the extra length.
When you feel like your world is crumbling and you can’t cope,
