I wrote you a poem
Even a love song
You acted alone
But only made me strong
I gave you my heart, my hopes and dreams
You walked away silently or so it seems
Trust it’s something we had
To share our feelings
The hopes we had
We fell hard for each other
And we fell fast
I was ready to catch you, but you flew off
And I fell hard
Some days I wonder where you're at
Last time we spoke you sounded so sad
I thought I could help you forget all she did, you. Let me in and we still got hurt
A silent word is more hurtful than a speech
One step closer to losing you it seems
Remember what I wrote in our song and poem
The two of us. Our dreams. Never letting go
