Dream
I had a dream last night
It gave me such a fright
Everything went so wrong
And soon you will be gone
I went onto my knees
And begged, my Lord please
Why?
I do not want to die
I prayed to the Lord, for us to keep
Even uphill and steep
Our love safe and sound
To always be around
And so my love, my heart is grey
It’s all the little things you say
I hope you get your mind to rest
It will be for both of us, the best
I pray you will love me even more
And take away all the sore
I promise I will do the same
A promise, not in vain.
