Concrete
I harmonise your promises with my Longing
creating a song to soothe the cracks of a devastating,
hurting, Past
Melodies greying an old photograph
a memory kept still
yet movements continuous and Loud
reshaping and reawakening
that which was
So hear my song
this fuzzy composition
trying to wake you
screaming at you, for you
I find you asleep
there where I left you
deaf; defying
my words, all along, were thrown
against your silent wall
the soundscape graffiti
against that which you thought protected you
the artwork against that which was made to keep me out
I painted and tried singing my way through; no answer
Silent Walls never speak to those they keep out ...
