Caging dreams as memorabilia
Sometimes I just go away
To meet the silence in my head
It's a place so dark you can't see
Sounds completely dead
Had to get away
Had to disappear
Meet you in another life
Far away from here
Another time
Another place
As a different person
With a different face

Will I know you at all?
Will we even know how?

The choice to never choose
And it made us win
But just another chance to lose
Is it a lost cause?
Is it always too late?
Running away from time
With no time to debate
It sucks you dry
It drains you out

Or what it's all about
But if it never comes together
At least we'll still have
Our dreams as memorabilia
It was there all along
Just failing to take action
It was dormant in its cave
Like a wolf in hibernation

Ready for awakening
Just waiting for me
To come in for the taking
On the way
Coming in for the kill
Try not to scream now

In caged-up dreams of memorabilia
In that other life
