Broken-hearted

We started out as strangers
It was a Saturday morning
The 29th of July, in the heart of winter
No strings attached, was a day like any other
We became lovers the first day we met
destiny brought us together

CHORUS:
Broken-hearted, filled with disappointment
I'm paging through each memory
as I relive the chapter of my past
A year has passed
I can't help but feel that you’re a faded dream
Sometime I wonder if you were real
I have no picture of you, only in my memory

You were all serious talking about marriage
saying you looking for a relationship
that will transgress into marriage
I though you were a little strange
I just met you and here you are talking bout marriage

CHORUS

BRIDGE:
We fell in love, got engaged
I didn't see that coming
Everything moved to fast
I got cold feet was afraid to marry
Told him I'm not ready for marriage and he left me hanging
We met for a session and a good reason I believe
I've leaned a good lesson, although my heart is still broken

CHORUS
