Boys won't be sent

When I was a boy
y father told me, my father told me
He said son don't you ever walk after them
You will only find bloody mayhem

Son you’re never right, they will meet you at a gunfight
You'll never find a girl that'll put out the flood light
(You're always down they've taken your nerves of steel)
The books you read will never help
Won't help to cure the spilling of life.

The kids are all filthy thieves
Never smoke their purple leaves

Sorry baby, sorry honey
I won't make supper
My daddy's coming
We are out hunting
deer and animals
for the big slaughter
It will happen soon
when we will be together
no one will talk
no one will be bothered
by the fact that we
are both eager antlers

I'm always a little rascal
We're at war we're gonna battle
Time to make a sacrifice
Time to let the material burn
It's all on the roll of the dice
That blue ribbon will not suffice
when you dance upon the throne
or on the altar after the rain
remember I was the kid that put you on top
