Black and White
The lady on the street wears a dress
oh, what a sight
It even brings some light
Looking up in the sky, it’s dark, it’s night
The world around us in black and white
A new dawn breaks, the sun shines bright
Work calls, I want to stay home, I even might
Watching the news, stories of others, a fight
The world around me turns black and white
A racist remark from a black to a white
Is this wrong or is it right?
It must stop, this is my plight
The world exists in black and white
A woman’s love pumps through her veins
For her son, he was shot through his brains
Hear my cry, bring back the light
My world still is in black and white
We can change it, change it, from black and white
And maybe, just maybe we will all see the light
