Stefan Kriek
My name is Stefan Kriek. I’m a lecturer at the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Johannesburg. I have a near-unhealthy obsession with film and often engage in lengthy critical discussions about mainstream and obscure movies, regardless of the fact that people stopped listening hours ago. I also get up at 3:00 am to watch the Oscars live. When I’m not rambling on about movies, I’m doing research for a potential PhD in film studies.
