Siyabulela Javu is a performance artist and a student. She is a humanities graduate who is currently studying towards her honours degree in drama at Rhodes University. She is a storyteller who expresses herself through writing, spoken word/music, acting and directing theatre. She is rooted in stories that seek revolution, justice, healing and love. She acknowledges that akahambi yedwa; she walks with those from the past, the present and the future. This is reflected in all her expressions of art, which she calls iCamagu – a manifestation of light and life.
