Moeniel Jacobs a Cape flats native raised in Rocklands Mitchells Plain has always had a love for the arts. This was evident as a student from Cedar High school where his love for the arts was engrained in him. From Dancing, visual arts, music, theatre and TV acting and now the literary arts this Jack of all trades is no stranger to the different stages.
With a strong background in music as a vocalist and vocal coach his love for the performing arts took over as a stand up comedian with various performances on local stages with his own show Afrisnaaks. Thereafter he decided to enter the theatrical arena by producing his own production which he musically directed as well acted that debut in Carnegie Hall New York. This production was then staged at the Zabalaza festival and the KKNK.
He then decided to expand his talents by performing for the big screen with a quick cameo in Ellen Pakkies but his highlight was playing the lead antagonist in 26 episode Series called Melody.
A full time youth developer in Theatre and drama he has now focused on his writing by publishing his first book Rosa in New York with many more in the pipeline.
