Leon de Kock
Leon de Kock is ʼn senior navorsingsvennoot aan die Universiteit van Johannesburg. Hy was voorheen professor in Engels aan Unisa, die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand en die Universiteit Stellenbosch. De Kock het in ʼn loopbaan van oor die 30 jaar reeds meer as 60 artikels en boekhoofstukke oor die Suid-Afrikaanse letterkunde die lig laat sien, en sy vertalings van Afrikaanse literêre tekste in Engels (insluitende werk deur Marlene van Niekerk, Etienne van Heerden, Ingrid Winterbach en André Brink) is beduidende toevoegings tot die groter Suid-Afrikaanse literêre sisteem. Sy jongste boek, Losing the plot: crime, reality, and fiction in postapartheid writing, verskyn eersdaags by Wits University Press. De Kock het ook reeds drie digbundels gepubliseer, asook ʼn roman, Bad sex, en opgetree as redakteur van verskeie boeke.
