Lennox Plaatjies is the former CEO of Witzenberg PALS and is currently the national liaison officer for SA PALS, a private sector land reform and agricultural development initiative that started in the Ceres area of the Western Cape in 2015. Lennox is also a director and partner in Bambisane Farming, a fruit and livestock farming production business in Ceres. Previously he spent 18 years with the Department of Correctional Services, and also as the country head for a UK-based leadership development NGO, Emerging Leaders South Africa (ELSA). In addition to his human resources management studies, he obtained his postgraduate diploma in Poverty and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) at the University of the Western Cape in 2016. He is currently doing his master’s degree in sustainable agriculture at the University of the Free State (UFS).
